About Me... Several years ago I decided to hang up my pin stripe suit and move into the world of spices. I put a do not disturb sign on my kitchen door and got cooking. The results were my range of fresh spice pastes, which I launched in Sainsbury’s under the brand name The Mighty Spice Company. I ran the business for 4 years before moving onto spicier pastures. I wanted to get people as excited about spices as I was and show everyone how easy it was to cook with these wonderful little things. I started writing recipes and features for magazines and websites and then decided to go a step further and write my own cookbook, which would de-mystify spices for everyone. I travelled far and wide learning all about these wicked ingredients and my resulting cookbook Mighty Spice will be out later this year. I am a food entrepreneur who is always looking out for my next big thing. I am currently developing recipes, writing features, consulting for food and drink brands, planning my next book and developing treatments for TV.
