Christmas ice cream sundae


  1. To make the sauce, chuck the butter, honey, coco powder, orange zest and a tiny pinch of salt into a saucepan. Melt everything together over a low-medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes until you have a glossy sauce. Check the balance of flavours, adding more honey if you want it sweeter or coco powder if you want it richer.
  2. Crumble half the Xmas pudding into the bottom of two sundae glasses and top with a scoop of ice cream. Add the remaining pudding and more ice cream. Pour over the sauce and top with the chocolate orange slices. Serve immediately.

20g butter
40g runny honey
1 tbsp coco powder
Zest of ½ an orange
200g Xmas pudding
4-6 scoops of vanilla ice cream
4 chocolate orange slices
Sea salt
