Crunchie Bar Ice cream

Made with only three ingredients, condensed milk, double cream and Crunchie Bars, this simple no-churn ice cream is so easy to make and tastes as good as anything you can buy. You can add any flavours you like to the basic mix of the cream and condensed milk from peanut butter to chocolate and fresh fruits. I have gone for Crunchie Bars, a family favourite that makes the perfect TV treat.

Method

  1. Whisk the double cream and condensed milk into soft peaks. Pour into a non-stick loaf tin of Tupperware box and pop into the freezer for 3 hours.
  2. Take the ice cream out of the freezer and transfer to a mixing bowl. Give it a really good whisk with a fork and then stir in the crunchies. Put the ice-cream back into the loaf tin and back into the freezer for about 4-5 hours or until set. Serve immediately.
