This is one of my favourite cocktails, it’s spicy, sour and riddled with delicious tequila. Heaven. You can of course swap out the mango for another fruit if it’s hard to find. Soft fruits like strawberries or raspberries would be fantastic, or you could go BONKERS and try pineapple.
- Chuck the mango, orange, lime, tequila, sugar, chilli and ice into a blender and blend until smooth.
- Put the salt and chilli powder onto a side plate and mix together and put a little water it a shallow bowl. Dip the rim of each glass into the water and then the salt mix. Fill with the cocktail and garnish with chillies. Serve immediately.
Makes 4-6 cocktails
200g peeled mango
The juice of an orange
The juice of 4 limes
2 tbsp caster sugar or agave syrup
½ a chilli plus extra for garnish
2 handfuls of ice
½ tsp mild chilli powder
Sea salt to serve
