Zaatar Parmesan Bagel Bites

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer on full for 3 minutes. Whilst that’s happening, slice the bagel into ¼ cm rounds. I start by slicing it in half (so you have two semi circles) and then working my way round so I get even pieces.
  2. Put the zaatar, Parmesan and a pinch of salt onto a plate and mix. Pour the oil onto a small plate. Dunk one side of the bagel bites, lightly into the oil and then into the zaatar mix to get coated. Repeat with the rest.
  3. Cook in batches, you want an even layer with the zaatar coating facing upwards. Cook on Air Fryer mode @ 200 for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove from the air fryer and leave to cool in an even layer on a plate or chopping board. This lets them crisp up properly as they cool. Serve as you like with your favourite dip.

2 uncut bagels
4 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp zaatar
2 tbsp fine grated parmesan
Salt
