Cream cheese and chive dip

Method

  1. Mix the cream cheese together with the sour cream until smooth and then chuck in the spring onions, pickles, chives, garlic, lemon zest and a pinch of salt. Mix well and transfer to a serving dish. Now this bit is hard for us all, you have to let it sit for 30 mins so the flavours develop or an hour in the fridge.
  2. To serve, scatter over the remaining chives, add a drizzle of olive oil and dive in with crisps and as much zaatar as you like.

Ingredients

Serves 6

300ml sour cream
150g cream cheese
4 spring onions, finely chopped
4-6 pickled chillies, finely chopped
2 handful of finely chopped chives
2 cloves garlic crushed
The zest of a lemon
Zaatar to serve
Crisps to serve
Salt
