- Preheat the oven to 200 fan. Take two sheets of tin foil and lightly scrunch them to make two long boat shapes. Place this onto a baking tray. This handy trick will stop the baguette rolling around ;
- Cut the baguette in half lengthways and brush the exposed bready sides with olive oil. Pop them onto the foil and then place the baking tray into the oven for 10-12 minutes for the bread to go a little golden.
- Take the bread out of the oven and whack the grill on high. Layer up the bread with tomato sauce, basil, cheese, pepperoni and chilli. Pop it back it under the grill for 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling. Slice and serve.
1 x foot long baguette
4 tbsp olive oil
200g tomato sauce (cooked stuff for pasta)
12 basil leaves
250g mozzarella, sliced
8-10 Pepperoni slices
1 chilli, sliced
